pixel process by Kid-Apocalypse pixel process by Kid-Apocalypse
Because it really wouldn't be half as interesting or me if I didn't drag out the whole deal.

Done entirely in MSPaint because it has been rather a while since I did any pixel art. I borrowed the skintone pallette, but the other four I made for this.

Probably because I haven't practised at all, I'm still terrible at highlights, but I think I've got a bit of style here that's different than what I usually do, and I like it--although, knowing me, I'll probably never duplicate it.

I always enjoy looking at progressives like this...I never did learn to draw using guides, except for heads...I think it's a great tool.

Oh so do I. It's fun to watch it go from scribble to Done, especially speed paints.

I actually really like making guides like this for myself. I never used to do it with much consistency, but lately I've been doing it for everything but chibis. The biggest thing it helps me with is hips. (I actually wrote a blog post about it, because I am apparently that dorky.)

well, I have to admit - sometimes I already "see" what needs to go where...It doesn't happen a lot, and very rarely, I will see a completed picture before I've started much on it.
More often than not, I will do quite a bit of terraforming(?) before I'm happy with a landscape. :)

That's because you have the eye of the artist. ;) I try hard not to envision anything completely, because I am almost inevitably unhappy with it when I'm done. Terraforming is like editing--it's a skill that you can't go without. :D And it can be fun.

Well, thanks...I like to think I do...

Oh man...I can get into so many variations on one theme.

I know you do. :D You're one of my inspirations, after all.

 Vague or detailed. I love twisting about a theme--there was an alternate list to the 100 themes thing, and one of the items on the list was rape. My first thought was of the turnip.
