I like this so much it's eerie. Seriously, he was going to be in a dopey pose and go with Rascal Flatts. Instead, I rocked Panic! at the Disco and he came out much better than I even wanted him to. He actually looks like my idea of a young Linden Kohlrabi, by accident.

Except he's not a dangerous zealot. I promise.

He's different from the other three kids, and that's why he's bigger. It's effing hilarious because I did it on purpose from the start.

The depth in these drawings is verging on phenomenal! The character's character is really evident.

:blushes: Aw, thanks. I had a really good run with these pictures. Could be because their characters still exist largely in potentia... But this one is quite possibly my favourite.

Now...if it's anything like my art evo (evolution) don't feel bad if the style fails you a time or two more...it does return...:) It's like a child's growth spurt, if you will...grows, grows...then suddenly seems to stop...then takes off again...:D

I hope you're right... I've had my style change on me so much it's almost a running joke.

That's when weeding steps in. :) You find too many 'changes', you work on weeding out the ones that keep you from pursuing your goal. :) A good talent always requires grooming, or weeding...but see you already knew that. ;)

Or they weed themselves! Mine tends to shift dramatically... I'm almost waiting for the day that someone accuses me of copying/stealing my own work in some way.

I have YET to have my talents weed themselves! *claps hand dramatically over forehead*. What are you doing to achieve THAT?
Yeah, I really hear you on that one. In highschool it was the same for me. Had two sets of drawings, one I'd made but a year before, and one I had drawn just a week or so before. I showed them to a friend and she showed them to her psych teacher who proclaimed they were not drawn by the same person! :O

It is called "accident" and "waiting too long to actually get off one's butt and do" ^^; My writing is so much a part of my thinking process that it changes as often as I do. That often works like tilling soil. Accidental weeding! I can follow a metaphor through to its conclusion. ;)

:giggle: Nice! I love looking at different works with that kind of gap...
