State Your Name and Occupation by Kid-Apocalypse State Your Name and Occupation by Kid-Apocalypse
100 Themes Challenge, #35 "Hold My Hand"

What occupies you?

I'm reading Walk the Night and trying to get a good idea for Casey's request right now, but I really felt like drawing this. Originally, it was supposed to be a somewhat gloomy triptych of Pundit and Giovanni, but this was more fun. I'll color it when I have time.... TIME: [link]

Truthfully, I do not know who the Something Else Entirely girl is.

I use pencils, paper scraps, pieces of cloth, dollar bills, index cards... I'm not the best person to ask about the conventional bookmark...

I've been tempted to, but they've usually been occupied.

Thank you! I really really loved drawing Pundit's. That squished "I love you too but please let go" face. :D

Maybe... The occupation is definitely one of mine.

:D See, that's the charm of your art and characters!

Oh, but it's true. Our art is a veritable extention of ourselves. I could bore you to tears about it. :)

:blushes:

There's also the observation that a large bit of the human condition is being shockingly self-concerned.... I'm guilty of that. ;)

:) and it gets better...

Well, why not? With whom do we live 24/7 365 days out of the year?? It's good to be self-concerned. We're the only ones who can help us...other people give us the tools, but WE'RE the ones who have to pick them up and use them, they can't do it for us, no matter how badly they want to.

With color, even. :D

:phew: I was afraid I might just be going a little peculiar from so much time to myself... Good to know it's an Everybody thing, moreover an important one. :)

*amen* :D and looking forward to that, too!

It's important doubley so as we make the effort to expand and improve...I know you've discovered just vegging or letting ourselves slide doesn't cut it, and only makes us depressed more. Positive Self-Concern = Good. :)

Just have to shade it now...

:nod: Reminds me of the quote, "With all the wonders in the universe, humans invented boredom." And I know I botched it.... ^^;
