Inevitable IXIt was a minute or two before I could get a sufficient hold on myself long enough to let go of my towel and even think about getting dressed.  My heart was pounding so hard it actually hurt, and my lungs were aching from breathing normally instead of taking in the large gulps of air I'd needed in the hallway.  He'd come over, without me wheedling or calling or anything.  Did that mean something?

I dropped the sodden towel on the floor and walked over to my closet.  That was the kind of look I wanted to see on his face, wasn't it?  I blushed, feeling my hair start to dry a bit quicker. &#
Inevitable VA squirrel chattered angrily at me as I rushed past his home.  I was so panicked and goddamn sad that I nearly chattered back at it.  But I just climbed higher, cursing myself as I dug my claws into the tree.  God but I was an idiot…!!  What the hell was that?!  I'd practically climbed into his shirt!  Why?!

It was loneliness.  And severe lack of…  I swallowed hard.  I was going to lose my best—yeah, my best friend.  Because I had gone too long without—never mind.  Shut up.

This should probably be in scraps, but maybe I'll update it with color later. Hard to categorize because some is fanart and some is mine. No one will recognize anyone but Pundit.

Still, hats off to Rob Grant, Doug Naylor, Terry Pratchett, and me. In just about that order.

(The unidentifiable thing is a bottle cap. I was gonna draw the bottle, but it got tossed out.)

Oh, I should have actually erased that. ^^; Horrible, horrible doodle of the Cat from Red Dwarf. I was probably trying to carve out a different style to draw in....

I like that concept too! I want to attempt some different approaches to my art, too. I'm afraid I'm getting stuck in my own narrow boundaries again :noes:

Problem is ugly begets ugly...uncute, I can manage. :) I have bookloads of uncute characters I've drawn over the years...:D
