Practice with Poses by Kid-Apocalypse Practice with Poses by Kid-Apocalypse
Just wanted to try to think up and execute some more animated poses.

These guys are brothers, Carson, Ainsley, and Sven. (left to right)

Ainsley did not grow up to be very tall. :pointandlaugh:

..'s called Poser Figure Artist [link];PN=5&SID=1839&;PID=955267&CUR=840&DSP=&;PGRP=0&ABCODE=&CACHE_ID=306725 and for people like me who are "figure drawing" challenged, it works marvellously. I've had myne for a couple of weeks or so, and LOVE IT. I used the program figures as a study for a couple of figures I'm working on in a mythology theme.
There's a free download trial version. It can get a little frustrating when you model the figure yourself, but it also comes with pre-posed selection; ie you click on the optional poses, and it models your figure for you.
For $99.99 I'm quite happy. When you pay for the full program, of course you get more options, and one of them is the comicbook hero poses. (think marvel)
(I just looked at the preview of this, I hope the link works for you.)

Oh, awesome! I used to use DAZ|Studio for that, but getting content is such an undertaking. [link] I haven't used it in a long time, though. Dunno if it really has any features that are meant for artists, though...

The link got killed by a small problem dA has, but I understand how to fix it, so I got there anyway. :D dA has an overenthusiastic ;p emoticon.

 So I was hoping I've gotten them overridden with my own stuff--experiments, at least.
