Oh These Photographic Moments by Kid-Apocalypse Oh These Photographic Moments by Kid-Apocalypse
Oh, These Photographic Moments, Our Lives

I honestly don't know what I was doing, but apparently cameras popped into my brain. The middle is my favourite, although I do love the melancholy dog.

There's a sort of balance between writing and art right now that I'm not sure matters. I wrote four scenes in TF2 TAS, a chapter in a story that I'm not too sure about, and then drew this.

I also played FFX for a couple of hours, despite Spoony.

He thanks. I suppose it's a natural progression from the Sad Bunny.

Did you use a transparent background for this?

I love the dog, by the way. :D

You know, I could have, but I actually just had the colour of dA dev pages in my PS colour sampler. Which is probably a good thing, because I didn't realise 'til the middle that I had left my brush settings on Multiply.

:D Thanks. He's probably supposed to be a stuffed animal, but I just wanted to draw a dog with a really silly face.

:) It worked, whatever you did or din't do...I found a new art program I've been dinking with...it's got some spiffy features, but it's not compatible with Adobe, ie you can't switch work back and forth unless it's jpeg format...but I made a quick picture I'm going to upload here shortly.

It's actually a cute face.

:thanks: Ooh, new art program! Always fun. It can't switch to anything with layers? Not even a RIF that you could convert in Painter? Shame. But if you like using it, that's all that really matters.

Yeah, Paint.NET...it's free...I was looking at, or trying to look at another program, and for some reason, the page kept coming up blank, so out of frustration, I went searching, and found this...I may have to try it through Firefox, or something else, darn it.

I wish Adobe had those textures...Well, I dunno..I'll have to try it through RIF, but the last couple of times, i kept getting an error message.

Uy... My problem is that I never want to go through learning another program. Granted, I had that attitude with Photoshop and now I can't well do without it, but I'm getting more stubborn in my old age. ;) Plus, buggy programs are bad enough when it's one I know. (i'm talking about Painter 9's sudden crashes, i am)

You could probably find some way to import them, or at least find textures around the web that are similar.

This one's pretty intuitive, actually.
I never did get into Painter 9, but I know what you're talking.

Yeah, maybe Adobe has some plug-ins, but this new program has a couploe of special effects that really wowed me. I'll be putting up a sample later. :)

I could do with intuitive... Lately I've been using Flash, and for some reason, it takes me fifty tries to get a line I don't hate. grr.
It's evil, but I know it so well...and its handling of text is wonderful. Though its selection tools can go to Hades.

There's always Patterns. [link] And I shall look forward to it, though my keyboard's F5 key weeps. ^^; I don't know why my browser has such a problem with my favourite websites. It seems to almost exclusively hate dA and the escapist.
