Nestor or Nestea? by Kid-Apocalypse Nestor or Nestea? by Kid-Apocalypse
100 Themes Challenge, #52 "Deep in Thought"

Hehe, Odyssey fanart. I am the king nerd. :winner: I've been reading it on my lunch breaks, and near the beginning, Telemachus "thus" something about Nestor being "steeped in knowledge and wisdom". Being me, this is the first thing I thought of.

...Betcha Iroh does the same thing.

On the island. His son and daughter were guarding them and Odysseus' crew ate some. Remember?

 I honestly don't remember Helios's name getting mentioned therein. Tells you how awake I've been lately.

 it gets annoying. "It starts with a J.... no! G! Gordon? No, that's not right, it's something weird..." etc.

By the way, it was Garth Nix...

Sigh, I know I said you wewre nerd and I was geek, but I think with my one book choice I have turned the tables. I'm reading a large thick book called, "The History of the Middleast."

I dunno if that beats The Art of War, though... Ever read a dictionary?

Hmm, on and off, the dictionary. My friend sprung up a good idea by choosing four random terms and made them into a story...it was quite funny :D

I dunno, I don't know much about Art of War, only heard of it.

Random elements are great for funny stories. ^-^

I enjoyed it, though I'm learning not to recommend things to people anymore. ^^; Machiavelli is fun.

Ahh, Machiavelliots! I can't tell you how many times characters in books I've been read are solely based on him.

The words were Walrus, Evil-doer, Chankroid, and Naked. :D

I suppose I shouldn't say him directly...maybe more like the subjects of his book.
