Ugh, I hate this part -- negative criticism.
I understood that with his face, you were going for an angled view, but it kind of ended up uneven. His left eye was a lot bigger than his right. Also, it seemed that with the effect of his left eye and his ear, that his face was, erm, melting off of his face like wax (sorry for harsh terms!).
Ack, no more evil bad critiques from me!
I DID like the clothes affects. Another thing I won't understand is how artists know where to draw the seemingly random lines that make the folds in the clothes realistic; good eye!
Thanks! It's all down to observation and trial and error, really. Looking at other people's art helps a lot.
