Practice drawing kids and backgrounds.

*Hagge indirectly reminded me that it's been a while since I had some decent practice with airbrushes, so I remedied that. I think this took a little over an hour, maybe two, altogether.

A bit hard to categorize, since it's colored linework as well as airbrushing.... The little girl isn't anyone, but she reminds me of Azul. I miss that kid.

...and the tiny characters remind me of something similar I used to see as a very small child, fortunately rarely, in silhoette, though...

As a 2 - 3 year old, I didn't quite understand what was going on, but I admit I was rather surprised when we moved and our new home didn't have black shadows flitting about, for starters.

I'll bet... When we lived in Phoenix, my brother's best friend had a haunted house. It was very thick-feeling inside, as if the walls were carpeted, and you couldn't help thinking that the paintings were watching you.

My brother slept over there one night, got up for water or something, and saw a ghost. He said it just smiled at him and "walked" away.

I couldn't stop drawing Faceless Van.

It's sliiightly goofier than how Azul usually looked when she was annoyed. ^_^ Background's not too flat?
