It's enormous. Please download for real fullview, this took me the best part of a week. m(_ _)m Also, artist's comment block. Heh, and this from a person who really can't do fanart. ...and the title means "It's Not a Secret".
Aaaaaaaaand I have no friends who will fully appreciate this. Slayers is a really old anime that I love (for a long time now ) and these are my scarred ones dressed as five of the characters. I probably (read: "definitely") didn't get the costumes exactly right, but the only one of these characters I've seen in a few years is Zelgadis, so...be kind if you recognize something I did wrong or forgot. ...anyone who might, that is.
THE COLORS WERE SO DIFFICULT!! Most of these I have never used, and I was trying to match them with ones I barely remember. And then when I got to Roman (i started with Dice and worked my way to the left) my ability to draw feet/boots said "Screw you" and died.
From left to right:
Lyra Descartes as Naga the Serpent (ホホホ ~ )
Roman Abbot as Xellos the self-named Trickster Priest--the blindfold is not part of the costume, though that's a little obvious.
Vanguard "Van" McKitterick as Zelgadis Greywords (seriously, wiki this character and you'll get a kick out of why I picked Van to 'cosplay' him)
Emily Iverson as Filia ul Copt (who is technically a dragon, but I didn't draw the tail )
Dice Adams as Valgaav (also a dragon, that's why the horn. WIG! )

That really IS awesome. I full viewed it, and had to stare...if this is 'artist block', it'll be interesting to see you when you really get going again, with this much detail and characterization!!!
And personally, if you hadn't said anything about the boots and such, I'd have thought they were just part of the character...
Thanks! It really came outta nowhere... Working on a personal request now, so maybe that'll do it. I'm starting to really fall in love with drawing isty details.
So I said yeah, since t-shirts, tunics, pants, skirts, boots and sneakers are easier to draw.
And personally, if you hadn't said anything about the boots and such, I'd have thought they were just part of the character...
Really now...see, now, you just went up another notch in my opinion...if you're willing to be honest about something as insignificant as that...
