It's hugemongous. I didn't intend for it to be quite this large, but.... When I started, her head was big, and then all the proportions pretty much floated around that. Hagge asked for something along the lines of "500 Hats", but given that I just could NOT get to the library, I just went ahead and made it up as I went along. It's not Arille, but.... I could always pop him in a corner somewhere with a smart comment. oops.
It's been a long time since I last had such an easy time with a picture. I'm sharing the lineart now because I'm reeeeaally tired and not sure how kind my work week is going to be. I start tomorrow afternoon.
The biggest (and most ridiculous) hat is obviously taken straight (or not so straight) from American McGee's Alice. Anyone who knows me in RL, buy me a new copy for whatever holiday is coming up next, please? I'll draw or write you something if you do~
The "eyes" on the Angry Bear hat are actually buttons/pins from [link] but I can't express that properly until I get to the colors on this. And the one on the ear is a Rocky Horror Picture Show pin that Mr. Nelms gave me.
I LOVE it!!! Thank you....and it worked marvelously without Arille... (love it, love it. Down the line, though I still want you to draw one of my characters with one of your fantastic hats...I'll figure out who later...)
And now....what may I draw for you, oh talented one?
I had to dash back and make sure your bear hat was in there...it is...YAY!
No, it's perfect, and yes, I'm looking forward to the colored version, and take your time...no rush job this.....YaY!
hat day at my school can get really fun... and for a costume one year I learned how to turn a baseball cap and a length of striped cloth into an pharoah's headdress.
And now....what may I draw for you, oh talented one?
Umm.....How about the way you imagine Dschimi from what is written of his story?
No, it's perfect, and yes, I'm looking forward to the colored version, and take your time...no rush job this.....YaY!
Definitely won't rush! I'll use my new awesome coloring techniques....
