Stayed up all night, saw at least half of Mononoke.

I've still got a lot to learn about landscapes.

Ahh, but you've definitely captured the essence thereof...:)

Thanks. :thanks: I need to learn how to live without lines. Too much cartooning. And my colour management is very poor indeed...

You can kind of tell with this that I've been reading Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz. There's a sort of buggy, and travellers.

I have to admit, for a while I borrowed my own color managings off of other better known artists...

Oddly enough...I've never read the Wizard of Oz! :O

Maybe I should follow your example in turn. I also had trouble knowing where to put highlights, a die-hard problem of mine. I guess I should have looked at a photograph, but I can never translate them through my mind's eye...

:O I can email you an ebook copy, if you like. I'm smack in the middle of the fifth book, and the second is still my favourite. The writer is an obvious dear.

Yeah, I can understand that one, too. I had to learn to mentally place my light sources beforehand...

I think I'll look in the bookstore, first...see what comes up...I don't know what their problem in life is, but our cellular phone towers have been losing the signals a lot lately, and it's been hit and miss getting on line. Besides, if I have the physical book in paw, I'm more likely to read it, than not. :)

Maybe I should start drawing lights in first. ;)

Oh, I hate when that happens... But a book store is a good idea. You can probably even find a collection, there are dozens of books.

I actually drew faint lines indicating where my light source was coming from, a time or two. And I'll also admit, I've ad-libbed more often than not...but I've also discovered the joys of secondary and tertiary light sources...:)
