Stacks of misc. boxes clutter the small room.  " 'S STUFF" can be seen written on some of them, although the name preceding the " 'S" is never visible.  The room is otherwise bare of furnishings.

Scout tapes up a box, then leans on it, surveying the room.

MA (O.S.)
How're you doin' up there, sweetie?

SCOUT
     (rolls eyes)
I'm fine, Ma.
     (to self)
Quit askin'...

Scout hefts a stack of boxes and leaves the room.

INT. LIVING ROOM - MORNING - CONTINUOUS ACTION

Ma looks up from a cup of coffee as Scout enters, carrying the boxes.

:thanks: That's a good thing with telling myself it's illustration practise--I have a scene in my head, and it starts with stick figures (sometimes) [link] But because of the fact that it's a scene, they end up different. Shadows on walls are hard.

I still don't like to draw shoes, but I ended up doing a variety here, compared to my usual socks or Converse choices. ^^;

Yes, shadows are tough! They can make or not make a picture.

A lot of my characters seem to wind up in boots, I noticed. :D

Makes scenery that much tougher for me...

I used to do that, but they always ended up the same style of boot.

I've seen some doozies. But I'm still a fan of combat boots, even when they aren't appropriate. Like when you combine 'em with an evening gown or a prom dress.

Yeah, but that's a cool combination...kinda like...like...oi....I hate that...I had an idea, and it escaped...I think I need to stand in front of the fan with my hair lifted off one ear...get a refill.
Like honey and vinegar! there...I knew it'd return...it just went for a snack, is wot. :lol:

Even with that, I'm pretty hopeless. I need to practise.

Ooh that's been happening to me all day. :giggle: At least it came to you, and it's spot-on. I also like adding goggles or an aviator cap to just about anything.
