Blustery Day by Kid-Apocalypse Blustery Day by Kid-Apocalypse
100 Themes Challenge, #77 "Test"

I took the 473 postal exam this morning, which ended sometime after 9:00am. I had to call for a ride when it was over, and I was stuck waiting in front of the REC for twenty minutes. It was windy and freezing, so I put on the Angry Bear hat and pulled the hood of my sweater over it. I'd forgotten both of my notes at home, so I couldn't write anything, and I couldn't feel my fingers anyway. Also, the wind kept on trying to knock me over and my hair was in my mouth the entire time.

But I had my iPod, so I listened to Mindless Self Indulgence on repeat. :headbang: So I thought a little of that would be appropriate.

I don't always have hairties with me, though... My hair has only recently realized it was long enough to flap about like a drunken sail, so I'm rarely prepared.

Heh, because of that I keep two minimum on my wrist all but a very tiny slice of the time. Right now I have four, and my watch can also be used in a pinch.

...I have really thick hair and I break them all the time, that's why I keep so many.

I just lose them and never remember to carry any even when I know I'll really want one.

Again, why I keep three thousand on my wrist--when they're not in my hair they're on my wrist, even in my sleep. My watch can also double as a hair tie. Have I said that? I think I've said that.
