Inspiration, RealisationThe dusty quiet of the library welcomed few. It was very like a skittish bird. However, unlike a bird, it could not physically depart when disturbed. Instead, it withdrew its inspirational atmosphere the way a guilty cat retracted its claws upon being caught eyeing the tastier small and fuzzy pets.

Balanced on this tentative beam, Rielyth scribbled over a well-loved sheet of paper. Notes in the margins bred continuously, as expansive as the work itself. She could feel the world and story bursting in her head, egging her on in its impatient way.

Balloonsby ~Kid-Apocalypse

*Hagge's characters Pyne, Rieyth, and Merrily again, in the chibi form that I've used almost exclusively for them, Van, and Pundit. The story is all Hagge's idea, I was just privileged to draw it.

The first panel is still my favorite, and in fact, I printed out Rielyth's part of it and cut it to fit into my badge sleeve behind my photo ID. I am so stylish everyone wants to be me.

I very much want to draw the other idea as well, but because I also want to draw Jowy and Simon, I won't say I'm actually literally going to do anything until I start doing whatever I do. wow i need to sleep.

If I had a tee shirt, it would be based on the bubble drawings, though...in a single panel...Pyne blowing bubbles, Rielyth dancing beneath heart shaped bubbles, and Merrily floating merrily away in her own bubble...I'd even pay you for the drawing...but I gotta think how I want to do it.

I could come up with some. If it stayed like this, I'd think that it would be a front moving to back design, with Pyne blowing bubbles on the front and the bubbles blowing along the side of the shirt to the back, with Rielyth and Merrily's reaction.

I'm pretty sure I would have to do that by hand, though. You know, pencil it on a plain t-shirt and then go over the pencil in black fabric pen. One panel on a front-only design would probably demand some perspective-snubbing placement...e.g.:

I think so... I think today I'll try to get a plain white T-shirt from a secondhand store and some fabric pens so I can try out my first idea.
